NAYA

Approaching from the extensive parking area a visitor to the house is first impressed by the Naya which runs on both the south east and south west sides of the house. Four meters deep the naya's provides 118 square meters of welcome shade during the summer months. Entering from the Naya via double doors is the:-

Reception Hall
Large enough for a grand piano this would make an ideal music room. Tosca stone arched display alcove with glass shelves and lighting. The floor tiles are hand made (as are all those on the ground floor of the house). From the curtained archway is the:-

Lounge

An impressive room. Wooden beams with a minstrels gallery. A large stone feature fireplace with woodburner installed. Built in window seat and TV /Audio shelving The north west side is mostly French windows with doors leading onto a terrace which is presently fenced and includes a dog kennel. Incorporated in the "L" of the lounge is a dining area.
Passing a good sized bar area steps lead to the:-

Kitchen

Fitted with plenty of ivory coloured wood kitchen units with a built in electric fan oven and gas hob, also a double sink with a mixer tap. Off the kitchen is a utility room with traditional Spanish sink, electric water heater includes washing machine and dishwasher.
A room divider consisting of bookshelves separates the breakfast area which has a large semi circular window with mountain views. Window seat under. A fireplace is fitted with a woodburner. Returning from the kitchen and up steps past the bar area is:-

Please note that in the past bedroom 3, the workroom and the blue bathroom have  been used as a private staff suite.

Swimming Pool area

A well sheltered 10 x 5 meter pool constructed by Multipool. Surrounded by terracing and close to the house there is a large naya ideal for BBQ and welcome shade. Natural stone balustrade wall .Old bread oven. Swimming pool area features natural stone seats and table  made from interesting granite stone slab unearthed during reformation works.

Gardens
The gardens are low maintenance and stocked with mainly native Spanish varieties which require little water. To the front of the property is a lawn. Adjacent to the naya is a fish pond 5 x 4 meters.

There are almond, alogroba, olive and mimosa as well as a few fruit trees in the grounds.

General
The house is protected by a passive infra red alarm system. Rates payable are about 800 Euros p.a. The house is heated by two wood burners and storage heaters. These consume about 600 Euros  of wood p.a.

Important Notice

This property is in an area classified as URBAN on the town plan and is therefore NOT in an area subject to the LRAU (Land Grab) law.

The LRAU law will shortly be repealed.
